Nihal Krishan

Nihal is an award-winning journalist who’s work has appeared in the Boston GlobeUSA TODAY, MSNBC, the Huffington Post and The Arizona Republic. He's also been a guest on NPR, SiriusXM and SkyTV as a reporter.

Currently reporting on Tech Policy for The Hindu as a Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) Fellow, he's been a journalist for the past decade in DC with the Washington Examiner, Mother Jones, The New Republic, and PBS Arizona. He regularly interviews U.S. Senators, Congressmen, heads of federal agencies and top tech executives in Washington and Silicon Valley. He has broken multiple stories of national interest regarding campaign finance, economic policy, Big Tech developments and the explosion of AI in the past year.

Nihal grew up in South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, and Singapore as a TCK before moving to the United States to study politics and journalism. A graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School for Journalism, he learned to love biking and backpacking in the southwest.

In the artistic realm, Nihal is a proud member of the Picnic Theatre Company troupe with whom he’s performed as an actor at Dumbarton House, the French and Irish Embassy, and Woodlawn Mansion in the DC area.

Phil Linder

Philip linder (b. 1987) is an American painter based in Georgetown, Washington DC. A former military helicopter pilot, Philip began painting at age 31. His work draws from experiences and impressions in his own life through an abstract expressionist lens. Philip's dynamic paintings feature multiple layers and a variety of textures, creating movement, emotion, and tension through bold colors. Philip is drawn to the subject of the unconscious and its influence on human behavior and motivation. He wishes to explore the complexity of human nature and the struggle to integrate our nature in a modern world that demands so much from us. His work has been featured in galleries in Washington, DC.
